We recently moved and turned the space into a beautiful state of the art Dance Studio, in the Swan Commons Shopping Center, just west of McDonalds on Montauk Highway... We have three large rooms that we have (affectionately) named. The parking is unlimited and the oversized waiting areas have flatscreen tv monitors for viewing. The dance floors are specially designed and sprung for protection from injury while jumping or leaping.

    Intramural Swim Clinic 6 - 16 years - Stamford JCC

    Learn competition-style swimming and become faster and more efficient in your strokes and turns. Students compete against each other in a fun and relaxed aquatic environment. Meets are held each semester, where children will compete against one another. Children who are enrolled two days a week may qualify for Sunday practice sessions at no extra charge.

    PRINT WHAT? - Loft Artists Association

    Visit this exhibit of printed works by members of the LAA, offered in conjunction with free printmaking workshops.     Go Fish: Long Island Sound & Beyond - Maritime Aquarium

    This new permanent exhibit will explain how we can learn to "Respect the Fish" by exploring our fascination with catching, eating and protecting fish in the Sound. A new 30,000 gallon tank will house some of the largest species native to the Sound. A variety of hands-on and multimedia activities will enhance the experience.

    Amusement Park Science Exhibit - Discover Museum and Planetarium

    An interactive exhibit that explores the physics behind amusement parks. Twelve hands-on exhibit components include a Create-a-Coaster area, interactive video and computer kiosks, bumper cars and more.

    A Diorama Takes Shape: Bringing the Genius of James Perry Wilson to Life - Yale Peabody Museum
    Through April 25, 2010 - New Haven

    A two month exhibit where visitors will see a diorama created before their eyes. Michael Anderson, Torosaurus sculptor and Museum preparator, will prepare a foreground for a newly acquired painting by diorama painter James Perry Wilson. The scene depicted is the celebrated warbler migration at Point Pelee in southwestern Ontario. See what normally goes on behind the scenes as Michael and trained volunteers prepare plants and other foreground elements.

    Gerberich Gadgetry - STAMFORD MUSEUM AND NATURE CENTER

    This exhibition is a compilation of works reflecting his 25-year artistic career. Described as "Analog Work for the Digital Age," Gerberich artworks ask us to step back from the frenzy and let the clanking, clanging motion of each piece take us on a tour of our own memories as filtered through his imagination. Located in the Bendel Mansion.

    African Underwater Safari - Maritime Aquarium

    Explore the marine life of Africa and discover how the continent?s fish face similar environmental challenges as the fish in the Long Island Sound.     Building America's Canals Exhibit - Mystic Seaport: Museum of America and the Sea
    Through October 11, 2010 - Mystic

    A hands-on exhibit divided into sections relating to key canal structures - locks, masonry arches, cranes and aqueducts. Build your own canal, use model cranes to load and unload cargo from canal boats, or try a computer game in which you build and operate a lock, complete with virtual dynamite.

    Penguins - Maritime Aquarium

    Come fall in love with the new colony of African penguins in a new outdoor exhibit, offering views above and below the water.
