We recently moved and turned the space into a beautiful state of the art Dance Studio, in the Swan Commons Shopping Center, just west of McDonalds on Montauk Highway... We have three large rooms that we have (affectionately) named. The parking is unlimited and the oversized waiting areas have flatscreen tv monitors for viewing. The dance floors are specially designed and sprung for protection from injury while jumping or leaping.

    Scholars, Explorers, Priests: How the Renaissance Gave Us the Modern World - Godwin-Ternbach Museum at Queens College

    Families view over 50 paintings, sculptures, prints and decorative objects from the Godwin-Ternbach collection. Explore the achievements of Renaissance Europe and its influence on Western art and culture, including the continuation of traditional Christian and Jewish art; the revival of classical mythology and history; and an empirical spirit and curiosity that led to greater realism and the rise of portraiture, landscape, genre scenes, and scientific illustration.     This wide range of unique exhibits includes a square-wheeled tricycles that ride smoothly on a circular track of catenary arcs, to a plane of laser light that guests can pass plastic polyhedra through to find their surprising cross sections. Visitors can create unique pen and ink drawings to take home using the mechanical harmonograph or play with the "organ function grinder." Through April 4.
