 WANT TO BE A STAND-UP COMIC? KIDS 'N COMEDY CAN SHOW YOU HOW! Kids 'n Comedy doesn't just showcase stand-up comedy, we also teach it! Enroll in a Kids 'n Comedy Stand-up comedy class, and spend 9 glorious Saturdays in the company of other hilarious teenagers, as well as a hot-shot team of writers and comedians from around New York, learning how to write, workshop and perform your very own stand-up routine at the world famous Gotham Comedy Club. If you're funny, and you've got something to say, Kids 'n Comedy wants YOU! Classes run for 9 weeks, and culminate in a graduation show at Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan. Classes begin January 9 and again April 10
FOR THE SEASONED PERFORMER? For only the most seasoned young comedians, Kids 'n Comedy offers monthly material workshops. Come try out new material in a supportive and friendly environment at the Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan, and get personal one-on-one critiques and advice from working New York stand-up comedians. Don't worry, we'll be nice. 2010 Winter/Spring Workshop dates:. Dec 6 Jan 10 Feb 7 March 7 April 11 May 2 Note: Workshops are only available to graduates of the Kids 'n Comedy stand-up class SPEND YOUR SUMMER WITH US! Don't know what to do with your Summer? Spend it with Kids 'n Comedy! Take a break from the mosquitoes and poison ivy, and spend 2 weeks at Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan, learning about improv, comic acting, and stand-up comedy! Each camp culminates in a graduation show live on stage at Gotham Comedy Club. We promise not to make you paddle any canoes. Open to ages 10-18.
